Refurbishment scope

This brake disc was professionally refurbished on our behalf:

• Sandblasted
• Provided with temporary coating (rust protection during storage – not a high-quality final coating!)
• Faced or milled flat
• Running surfaces sealed with corrosion protection wax to prevent rust formation during storage

Unit of sale

Sale is generally in pairs, provided two brake discs are in stock in the respective thickness.
If only one piece is available in the respective thickness, sale is also possible individually.

Installation note

Immediately before installation, the corrosion protection wax must be completely removed with brake cleaner.

⚠ Core deposit required ⚠

This item is shipped exclusively against payment of a core deposit of €369.90 incl. VAT per brake disc.
For this, you need to add the item AP-102153.99 to the cart in the same quantity.

Process:

1. You receive the refurbished brake disc after payment of the purchase price and core deposit.
2. Return of your old brake disc(s) at your expense is required. If needed, we are happy to assist with booking a freight forwarder.
3. After receipt of the cores, the core deposit is refunded in full – provided the returned brake discs are suitable for refurbishment.

Your cores are subjected to a precise inspection in accordance with the technical service manual of the Austrian Armed Forces and diagnosed for any damage. Should the brake discs actually be defective (e.g. due to cracks that are too deep, excessive wear, etc.), the core deposit is retained in full. However, this case has not yet occurred with us to date.

Tip: You are welcome to send us your old brake discs in advance for a non-binding inspection.
